Casa MI49 is accessed through a dense pine forest, beyond a hill at the top. From it you can see hundreds of kilometers of landscape: fields of Espinar, Atalaya, Retamosa, and in the background, Sierra Espuña.

The house sits on the highest area from where it forms a large platform, sometimes in contact with the ground, sometimes in flight.

After the entrance, which is protected in an open patio, the house is divided into two parts:

Towards the west, the public: a wide and open viewpoint from which to observe the landscape. It also serves as the living room, dining room and kitchen. In front, a large platform as a terrace and pool area intended for the pursuit of hedonism and enjoyment of bodies.

Towards the east, the intimate: Three bodies orbit and rotate to configure three bedrooms with different perspectives and atmospheres. One more open and advanced that looks towards the South-east, another, retracted and protected by separate volumes on its sides and, the main one, a large volume projected towards the Northeast. Large windows allow a lot of light to enter and the pine forest in front will protect from prying eyes.

The urbanization and foundation of the house has been reduced to 20% of the total surface to try to alter the smaller surface of the natural land. The importance of this is to minimally affect the geological and ecosystem processes of which this land is a part, maintaining its natural runoff, its permeability to water, and the different native vegetation currently present: Aleppo pine (Pinus alepensis), rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis). ), thyme (thymus), etc.
