San José de la Vega, Murcia

JS09 House is a project that investigates how a small-sized home can also achieve spatial richness and broad perspectives. In this semi-detached house, there are no side or rear setbacks so the house only has one façade. The broken spaces generate crossed perspectives that amplify the feeling of distance and also glass planes allow natural light to reach all rooms and lengthen the vision to the outside. The pool divides the ground floor in two, introducing reflections of light and water waves inside the house to the first floor, through a light staircase.
